Hello there Coffee Loving Friends! Happy Sunday! It’s Kerry here and I’m back to share another coffee-loving creation today. I played a little with stamps, ink, watercolor pencils and modeling paste! MMMM…
My card was created using a few stamps from Dare2bArtzy. These stamp sets are Perfect Blend and Coffee & Jesus. I inked up the images using Memento Tuxedo Black and then brushed a bit of watercolor on the page. I also doodled the word Praise with a Micron pen. After the watercolor was dry, I stamped some of the coffee beans and the edges of my cardstock with some Memento Desert Sand ink then rubbed some modeling paste over the background. This gave me the texture that I was looking for.
I created a little striped border along the side by gluing some black cardstock pieces to a scrap of light blue cardstock. After that, I mounted the inked panel onto the striped piece then mounted that onto a black base. This base was then glued to some pink/fuchsia cardstock.
Thanks to all those who particpated in the Sunday Sip and Share challenges for the month of April! As promised, I’ve got a fun tea-loving treat for one lucky particpant from last week. Please help me congratulate THE AMY TSURUTA for winning last week’s prize! I’ll pop the prize in the mail on Monday!
