It’s Dana here. Today I have a faux cross-stitch card to share with you. Let’s get started!
To start, I stamped sentiment from Waffle Flower Crafts Stitched Cup of Tea stamp set onto white card stock. I used linen textured paper for today’s project and I love the result!
Next, I applied Molotow Masking liquid marker to the part of sentiment where I expected to be shared with sky part. After it dried completely, I stamped moon and sky from Waffle Flower Crafts Starry Night stamp set. Then, I stamped stitched teaware and their emojis and removed masking liquid using my fingers.
I then die cut scalloped frame using MFT die from woodgrain cardstock. To finish it off, I mounted all element – dark brown woodgrain cardstock, stamped panel, scalloped frame- on white card base using foam adhesive and glue tape.
Plus, I made a little cute tag too. Macaroon and sentiment are also from Stitched Cup of Tea stamp set.
