Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there Coffee Loving friends!  It’s Kerry here for another installment of Sunday Sip and Share!  I hope you’ve been having fun hopping along with the Spring Coffee Lovers Hop!  I’ve been so inspired by the many awesome creations posted thus far and can’t wait to see more!

Today, I’m sharing a project created in my Journaling Bible.  Hope you enjoy!

The sentiment on the coffee cup “Stir Up My Heart” inspired my search for the perfect Bible Verse and I found it in Hebrews 10:24-25.  This verse was a good reminder to me.  This stamp set called Fill me Up from Sweet n’ Sassy (Creative Worship series).  I stamped the cups onto white cardstock, added some watercolor and cut them out. After that, I watercolored the pages and highlighted the scripture.

Embellishing came last.  Adding some texture by using pink tissue paper (this set came wrapped in the tissue paper!) and some sparkle washi tape and corrugated paper.

A few sketchy journaling elements and doodles over the watercolored layer helped me finish the panels off.

A closer look at the scripture helps encourage me to stir up myself and others…Be good, do good things.  Encourage others by demonstrating faithfulness and a true heart.  ❤
