Thursday Coffee Break: Coffee Lovers CAS, One Layer Cards

clc-coffee-break-logo-640x640

Good morning everyone… Helen is here again with the Thursday Coffee Break. Today I would love to share with you a quick idea type cards you can create in your break time.

I like creating a batch of cards in one sitting 🙂 especially when I work with a stamp set that give me options to create more than just one theme of cards like the Coffee Lovers Stamp Set from Joy Clair.

I use MISTI to do multiple stamping. I used the cups and sentiments five times using Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad. Super easy and fast.

First, I stamped the cup, then the sentiment, then the coffee bean on the cup sleeve. Then I using Sakura Micron Pen – Graphic 1 to draw the border line. Here are the close up of each card I created:

I would love to hear from you which technique is your favorite when it comes to creating a batch of card 🙂 Thanks for visiting me today and have fabulous caffeinated day!

A marvelous set of cards, Helen; they’d make a charming gift set! My favourite mass producing technique is similar to yours: simple image with a variety of sentiments! Love what you’ve shared here!

    What a great idea!
    I’m always afraid to keep
my cards CAS. But I always
like CAS cards when someone else
makes them. These would be good to have on hand,
so by doing some simple coloring and maybe a few
simple embellishments would make for a
    quick card. Thanks!

Helen, these are such wonderful cards! How appealing that they can be made quickly using the MISTI. They look great, and there is a nice variety of sentiments in that set. I think it’s going on my wish list.
