Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Only 2 more days until the Spring blog hop starts, are you as excited as I am!?

As you all know about me by now … I only need coffee in days ending in “Y”. So when Simon Says Stamp had this little stamp set available, I had to have it – makes for the perfect sentiment I wish I had on my coffee cup. Until then, I created a cup for today’s card. The sentiment fits perfectly on the Reserved Confetti coffee cup.

I had in my “unused stamps” stash this weekdays stamp set by Hero Arts. I used it to create an embossed resist background using the week days, over which I blended a light layer of “dusty concord” distress ink.

I absolutely love a fresh croissant with my coffee. The Hero Arts layered croissant looks so appetizing, I can almost sense its aroma. A bit of twine and a few sparkling sequins as embellishments and the main panel was ready.

I cannot wait for sunny warmer days, to savor a coffee and a croissant on a cafe terrace.
