Kevin Bray is wrapping up his month with us. I hope that you’ve enjoyed his fabulous designs as much as I have. There is some eye candy at the end of this post highlighting all of his wonderful projects that he’s shared with us this month!
Hi everyone! Kevin here with my last post as the February guest designer! It’s been a wonderful month with you all!! For my final card I wanted to try something that I am not very comfortable with- one layer cards. Well, it’s 3 layers, but the main panel is just one! That still counts right?! Anyways, check it out!

I started by grabbing a gray piece of card stock that I cut down to 4 x 5.25 and used Pumice Stone Distress Ink to dab on some gray circles, giving it a bokeh-ish look. I simply used my finger for this technique. Then I stamped the image from Whimsey Stamps and shaded it with a W0 Copic marker and some Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle. The sentiment comes from a combo of Simon Says Stamp and Whimsey. I matted the panel with a black piece of paper and adhered everything to the card base.
Thank you so much to Amy and the rest of the team for having me this month. I really enjoyed making all of these coffee cards. I think you guys are rubbing off on me because I ordered a caramel mocha today instead of a soda at lunch! Have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by!
-Kevin
