Hello dear friends!

Andreea here. Spring is definitely in the air on my part of the world. And so many of us are using the spring floral stamps more and more, I got inspired to create something floral too.
Today’s card is a Thank You card which I hope will bring a smile on somebody’s face. As I travel with work, there are so many wonderful people who are helping me with the logistics, I hope they know how much I appreciate their support to make things easier for me, being away from home. I decided to send along a few handmade cards, to thank them one more time.
For this card I combined a few Simon Says Stamp sets: the coffee cup is from their newest “Coffee and Tea” set. The beautiful daffodils from the “Friendship blooms” are colored with my zig markers and fussy cut. The sentiment is from their older coffee stamp set “What’s brewing” and perfect for this card, as I planned it to be a Thank you card.

I decided to leave the cup white, but I paper pieced a cup sleeve to match the plaid paper. I glued some of the flowers, buds and leafs on the main panel and other are mounted with foam, for a dimensional look.
The main panel is mounted with dimensional foam on wood grain embossed kraft cardstock, by Ellen Hutson. I thought this complements beautifully the colors on the card.
Sending you all latte thanks for stopping by! I hope you like today’s card and by next time we talk the spring is in full swing.
Hugs,
Andreea
