Hello, Coffee loving friends!
It’s Dana here. For last 4 days, I enjoyed Lunar New Years holiday. It means I had more time for craft and I tried to make new interactive card. Here is what I came up with.
For this my very first pop up card, I started by sponging some dye inks on the white card stock for background. I spritzed a bit of water using mini mister, too.
Next, I used curve dies from Avery Elle to create hills. After die cutting, I added snow dust and stickles on top edges. While they were drying, I stamped yeti and polar bear images from MFT on the bristol paper and drew some details to them. I colored them with Zig markers and fussy cut using scissors. I then stamped sentiment and small cup image from MFT on bottom of the card.
Now, it’s time to make pop ups. I used Everyday Pop-Ups die from LawnFawn 3 times and adhered hills to each of them like as shown on the pic. I then mounted white pop up panel to the grey card base and all critters and stars where I wanted them.
To hold pop up card, I tied a paper band made with chevron pattern paper from MFT. I then die cut circle tag from pink card stock. I ink blended inside the tag and mounted one more yeti in front of it.
Doesn’t it look like tea time scene in North Pole? Hope you enjoyed this card.
Love,
Dana
