Hello, dear friends!
Andreea here and today I am coming back with some inspiration for the upcoming Winter blog hop! The mega fun is only 2 days away!
I think most of us are still working on the holiday season cards. So here is an idea of how to stretch your coffee stamp sets for the holiday cards.
On the card I am sharing today I used the coffee cups to create cute ornaments, inspired by a dear friend of mine who was in a Starbucks store the other day and was showing me their cute ornaments of the year.

I used the “Oh Frappe” stamp and coordinating dies set from Ellen Hutson to create my ornaments. After I stamped, gold embossed and die cut them, I looked through my other Ellen Hutson stamps for small elements I could use for embellishing the cups: tiny snowflakes from the Holly Jolly stamp set, big snowflake from the Christmas Scribbles stamp set and the holly and the star from the Merry and Bright stamp set. All embossed in sparkly gold, red and green. I am sure you will find such small elements in any of the stamp set you own. To finish of the ornaments I have pierced a tiny whole and used some metallic twine for hanging them.
The Christmas tree branches are also from the Christmas Scribbles stamp set. They are stamped and embossed with sparkly green powder. I adhered the ornaments twine on the back of the branches, allowing them to move so this started to look like a pretty garland.
The garland helped me figure out the background design. I imagined a frosty window inside a cozy café. To create the impression of the window frame I used a negative die cut from another project. For the frosted window I used a piece of vellum on which I have stamped and embossed some snowflakes using the “snow sparkle” Wow embossing powder. On the back of the vellum I added some distress ink with a cloth for a tainted shade of blue. I adhered the vellum to the frame and I stamped the sentiment “Have yourself a merry little Christmas”. The panel was added on the card base using dimensional foam, to continue with the window impression. Finally, I added the “garland” and ornaments to the window and this finished my card.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and found some inspiration. I cannot wait to see your projects during the blog hop, remember there are lots of prizes and our DT will also pick and feature some of the projects.
Have a joyful day!
Andreea
