Hi friends, how are you? I hope you’re ready for another The Three Amigos post, because today is Tuesday.
Have you noticed that it’s almost December? It’s that time of year when I start wishing that November and December had two months each; or maybe start doing everything in September… that would do, as well :).
The card that I made for this post intends to represent the coziness and warmth of the season.
With that purpose in mind, I created a knitted background using a folder and die combo from Marianne Design. In this case I just needed the die to create a stencil, and then used translucent embossing paste + Judi Kins Iridescent Sparkle EP. The cross stitched elements (circles and lines) are both My Favorite Things. The plaid paper, flowers and ephemera are all Prima, from the gorgeous Sweet Peppermint Collection. I have a huge crush for that sweet little bird… isn’t he adorable? The little guy is holding a nice and warm cup of tea, recently made just for you :). The sentiment is from a brand that I absolutely LOVE – Waltzing Mouse – unfortunately out of business. I stamped it using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW Clear Matt Dull powder. The white sparkling die cut shape on the left is from Simply Graphic, dies trio nordique.
