Hello Coffee, tea and cocoa loving friends. I finished up with my festive Thanksgiving celebrations with my family and am now recuperating from being stuffed with yummy foods…and a cold! Yes, caught a season-change cold and my nasty cough is really a pain in the rear! Sooo…To ease my cough and use up some of my yummy leftover cranberries, I decided to make a little hot tea with a dash of cranberry juice! It’s such a tasty drink this time of year.
I created a little recipe tag/tag pouch to place into my planner that features this homemade concoction. Would you like to try it? Well, here you go…You can add more or less cranberry juice to please your tastebuds.
To create the little pocket with tag insert, I used a few fun stamp sets and the “FUN SLEEVE” die from Fun Stampers Journey. The pocket die has the most adorable little scalloped edge and it’s fun creating little keepsake holders with it. Although it’s difficult to see, I stamped the sketchy circle from the “PLANNER SKETCH” stamp set all over the pocket with Candy Red ink. I handmade the tag and doodled a border to match the little kraft circle punch attached to the top. The cup comes from the set called LEMONADE SIP and was colored with Copic Markers.
This tag tucks perfectly into the little pocket. I’ll be making more of these for the holidays for sure! They’re handy when you want to go shopping for the necessary ingredients for some yummy treats, don’t you think?
Now my post wouldn’t be complete without a coordinating sketch would it? Well, here it is! Even if you don’t have the pocket die, you can still create a fun pocket card (to tuck a gift card, cash, keepsake or note inside!)
I hope you give this sketch a try! If you do, please share a link to your creation. We’d love to see it! When sharing to social media, please include the hashtag #clcsipandshare for easy access. 🙂 Have a great week!
