Happy Wednesday, dear friends!
Andreea here for our weekly cup of happiness. Yesterday I saw the first real snowflakes of the season, magical … every single time! It also made me bring out my Starbucks winter season coffee mugs and move them on the front row on the shelf. And while hugging my cinnamon flavored coffee and thinking it must be cold outside, I also realized which stamp set I was going to use for my next coffee themed card.

The “Winter warmth” by Simon Say Stamp is one of my favorites, you have seen me using it quite a bit and you will see some more of it, no doubt. I just love the coffee cup shape.
I have die-cut the coffee cup along with the mittens, hat and the scarf and then I stamped and gold embossed them. I thought a little bit of winter glamour was in order and gold and turquoise make for such a glam combination! I colored the images using the “turquoise green” zig marker and a lot of gold stickles. While the stickles was drying, I die-cut a couple of panels, one out of gold glitter adhesive and one out of wood grain white paper by Ellen Hutson.
The sentiment is stamped and gold embossed on vellum. I have wrapped it around the front panel and glued it on the back. I have also added a few snowflakes, using the snowflake from the same stamp set and the “Scuba” ink from Simon Says Stamp.
It was now time to arrange and glue in place my sparkly die cuts. I will not tell you how long it took me … but once figured out it looked lovely. A few sparkly gold sequins and the card is nearly ready. I adhered the gold glittered on the card base and then mounted the main panel with dimensional foam.
I hope you are enjoying today’s card and staying warm and cozy.
Hugs,
Andreea
