Hello caffeinated drinks lovers,
Andreea here and today I am sharing a hot cocoa card. Can you believe it – The Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop is not far away at all!
I love this time of the year when the air is getting really crisp and you know people are getting cozy in their homes, by the fire smell in the air. I do enjoy a hot cocoa or hot chocolate cup at this time of the year, they have the smell of my childhood winters at my grandparents … ah memories!
That’s exactly what I had in mind when I saw the “Cozy up” stamp set by Concord and 9th, which I used for today’s card. I imagined a snowy wreath you would see on a log cabin door – fire logs, woolly socks and a hot cocoa cup.

I stamped the hearth on kraft cardstock, with “dark chocolate” ink, die cut it and then added some sparkly white embossing powder on the edges, to make it look like it snowed on it. For the socks and the cup I blended “festive berries” and “pine” distress inks on white cardstock before stamping, white embossing and die-cutting the images, using the coordinating dies. The sentiment describes perfectly what I was trying to suggest with the images.
Now … anybody else singing with me? … “last Christmas I gave you my heart …”
Have a cozy afternoon, dear friends!
Hugs,
Andreea
