Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello dear friends!

Andreea here and today I am sharing a card for the tea lovers. There is something comforting about a cup of tea and I don’t mean it just during the cold weather, but also when I am feeling a bit down. Having a tea with a dear friend always warms my heart and brightens my day and thoughts.

I have a very special friend who is a huge fan of a certain British tea brand, and I had her in mind when I selected the pattern paper for my tea set. This paper reminds me of a fine China tea set. My friend also loves shaker cards, ok I know we all do … but she really loves them!

I couldn’t wait to use the new “Tea party” die by My Favorite Things. I love the shapes of the cups and tea pot included in the dies set. I was able to use one of the stitched circle die by MFT to create the little window for my shaker. To fill in the shaker I used some micro beads and tiny paillettes, by Recollections, in the colors of tea leafs.

A few sequins and twine to embellish the card, and a sentiment from the heart.
Have a tea with a friend, it will warm your heart.
