Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello dear friends! Andreea here, joining again the blog hop fun with a fall coffee card. I am awe by the creations I am seeing in the gallery and loving all the beautiful fall colors. There is something about the autumn hues that make me think coziness.

I love the gold and plum purple nuances that some leaves are displaying at this time of the year and that is what inspired me for today’s card.

I created the shaker window using the “Stitched grand maple leaf” by Simon Says Stamp. I embossed the edge of the leaf with gold embossing powder, for a better definition of the leaf and to reflect some of the golden hues. For the shaker I used a combination of gold and coffee color microbeads and small confetti.

The cute coffee cup it is by Simon Says Stamp as well, part of the “Cold hands, warm heart” coordinating stamp set and dies. I embossed the cup with gold embossing powder and colored it by blending distress ink to create the ombré effect. The sentiment is gold embossed on a vellum stripe, which I wrapped over the lower part of the panel.
