Hello Coffee loving friends, TGIF!
This is Dana here. I’m so excited Fall hop is just around the corner! I couldn’t resist making fall caffeine cards and I have one of them to share with you today. I’d like to express a cup of ‘me time’ in the busy life to my card. Let’s get started!
For today’s card, I played with MFT die-namics I had hoarded in a little long time hehe.
I started by die cutting all elements using ‘Hot cocoa cups’ and ‘Skyline border’. Also, I created balcony railing and scallop frame using other shaped dies from ‘Blueprint 27’.
I then added black stripes to the mug using Zig clean color real brush. For city line, I ink blended it using distress ink (Black shoot). I gold heat embossed sentiment from MFT ‘Stay cool’ stamp set onto the background paper designed by Eunji Jung. I’m in love with sunset glow feeling of this paper and I choose it.
Next, I built a shaker card using acetate, foam tape, various sequins and beads. I stacked layers up from bottom to top : background paper, shaker space, scallop frame, city line, balcony railing and a cup. I foam mounted them each other for dimension. Lastly, I adhered shaker panel to white card base using double-sided tape.
Take life one sip at a time. I really love this sentiment!
Thank you so much for reading this post. I’ll be back on the first day of Fall hop, next Friday!
Have a wonderful weekend!
