Hello, coffee loving friends!
This is Dana here and I’m so happy to share my first card with you as a guest designer. Today, I tried to making tea themed card using minimum number of caffeine-related stamps.
Here is what I came up with. ‘Before and after’ tea time and my tea definition. I’m sure many of you have had this feeling in your coffee and tea time. In my case, I make a smile on my face like right happy bear not only in tea time but after smelling coffee beans being roasted in the cafe.
For today’s card,
- I started by stamping bears and emoji stamps from The ton onto watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx black. I then drew a mini cup using Copic multi liner and watercolored all of them with Mijello mission gold. Once it was dry, I fussy cut them out using scissors without white space.
- Next, I created my own background by die cutting the white card stock using border die from Avery elle. After die cutting 2 times, I got 3 pieces of card stock. I ink blended top and bottom panel using distress inks (Antique linen, Tea dye).
- After stamping the sentiment (semicolon is my handwriting), I adhered black glitter washi tape between the panels. To finished off, I mounted all pieces to the white card base using glue and foam tape.
I hope you enjoy this card and get some inspiration. See you next Friday!
Hugs,
Dana
