Hello coffee loving friends!
A very dear friend of mine moved to Lyon, France a couple of years ago. Even though we lived in different cities, we used to meet pretty much everySaturday for a coffee and a chat, and of course shopping was involved. We still visit and we stay in touch, but in the busyness of life we don’t get to talk every week anymore. The other day she sent me this heart melting note, no other words were needed … “Happiness is meeting an old friend after a long time and feeling that nothing has changed”.
Her note not only made my day, but also inspired me to create the card I am sharing with you today.
The coffee cup dies I used are by Sugar Pea Designs. You have seen me using them quite a bit, I just love how you can die cut the actual cup, lid and sleeve separately. It allowed me to use some pattern paper for the cups, combined with white paper.
The sentiments and the flower stamps I used are part of the Echo Park stamp set “So happy together”.
I used some enamel dots and a bit of yellow twine to match the colors of the pattern paper I used for the flowered back panel, which was part of a Simon Say Stamp July card kit.
I hope you are enjoying today’s card and that you will be joining me next Wednesday as well, for a cup … happiness.
Hugs,
Andreea
