Hi everyone! How are you?
I had this idea in mind for a card for some time. Using watercolor paper, I die cut a scalloped panel from Noelle Cutaways by Winnie & Walter. After this, I stamped the mug from SSS “What’s Brewing?” stamp set and masked it and the area where the spilled coffee would be. Grabbed a Gourmet CC 49 stencil and blended some cracked pistachio and peacock feathers Distress inks to the background. Removed the masks and then die cut the “face” from Paper Smooches Big Balloons die set.
The next step was coloring the coffee and mug. For the coffee I used Distress inks and Derwent Inktense Pencils and for the mug I used Altenew Peach Perfect crisp ink and Faber-Castell Art Grip Aquarelle pencils. When everything was colored and happy, I fussy cut the speech bubble and some flowers from the 6”x6” Nine & Co. paper pad by Teresa Collins (discontinued). This finishes off a fun and a little bit crazy card that I hope you’ll enjoy!
See you soon, coffee lovers!
Thank you for stopping by.
