As promised last Wednesday, I am back with a new card and a fresh cup of … happiness. Hopefully, I will be able to make two friends happy today, so stay with me until the end of this post and you will find the link to my IG account where I will be announcing the winners of last week’s giveaway.
My advice for you today is to always follow your heart. I followed mine this morning … and it led me to the coffee machine. As in all other mornings, truth be told. They say happiness comes in all shapes and sizes, and today mine is a cup of coffee. A pink cup, preferably.
For today’s card I used the negative of a heart diecut to help me position my stamping and ensure the perfect heart shape on my panel. I then colored the cups using the zig markers. The coffee cup is part of the Simon Say Stamp “Choose Happy” stamp set. The sentiment is stamped using the “Label maker sentiment” stamps by My Favorite Things. I wanted to maintain the CAS aspect, so I only added a few clear sparkling Pretty Pink Posh sequins and the card was ready.
