Hello coffee, tea and cocoa enthusiasts!
This is my first post as a Design Team member for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog! If you are a cool beverage fan, please check frequently for a variety of posts from the other talented and imaginative ladies.
You won’t believe how happy I am to be sharing a bit of my creative life with you… I will be posting every other Tuesday.
I wanted to make a fun card, so I started by looking for something appealing in my stash of designer papers. Among those papers, in this case from Fancy Pants “Be Different” and Simple Stories “DIY”, a few words and phrases called my attention. I cut them out with scissors, to compose my wild coffee lover character and started mounting everything.
From bottom to top, I used Fancy Pants paper and a white piece of watercolour paper. Then I mounted another piece of watercolour paper with foam adhesive, where I had previously stamped the HA “Tweed Pattern” using Distress inks spritzed with water. After this, I adhered a partial circle from MFT “Cross-Stitch Circle Stax” where I glued words from Simple Stories papers, a clock stamped from SSS “To Thine Own Shelf”, two die cut arrows from SC, and finally some wood veneers from the Prima Coffee Break Collection. As a finishing touch, I added tiny googly eyes and a wild hair made from faux fur that I had at home. For the glasses I transferred a little bit of designer paper, using matte gel medium, and covered with GA.
Stay well, and I hope to see you again in two weeks!
Thank you for stopping by.
