Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Maria is back with us with her final project as one of our June Guest Designers.  Please stay tuned because I will feature all of her lovely designs at the end of this post!

Hello Crafty Friends and Coffee Lovers,

Today I would like to share my fifth and last project as a Guest Designer for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog.  I have had so much fun creating my cards and I would like to say THANK YOU again to Amy and the whole Team for giving me this wonderful opportunity!!! I’m grateful and very happy about it!!!

For this card I built a summerly beach scene.

Two Coffee Lovers had a dream. They bought an old white clapboard Beach Hut, remodeled it and opened their own little Coffee Shop “A hug in a mug” at the beach in somewhere. Their guests are really excited and enjoy high quality Coffee goods with the ocean in mind.

At first I water colored my panel to create the blue sky. Then I diecutted all pieces I need from white cardstock and watercolor cardstock. Next I made the white clapboard Beach hut and added the window and awning.

Before I diecutted the awning from red-white striped cardstock. Then I stamped the Sentiment “A hug in a mug” on the front of the awning. The Sentiment is from the amazing “For the Love of Latte” Stamp Set by Reverse Confetti.

I painted all pieces which needed paint with my Kuretake Gansai Tambiand Distress Inks. Then I completed the scene with the fence, the seagulls, the bench and so on.  Because all Coffee Stamp and Die Sets I have, were too big. Well I drew my own cups and mugs and fussy cut them. I mounted all pieces with dimensional foam tape on the panel as shown.
