Hello coffee loving friends!
Only 3 days to go until the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop! I am back today sharing my second project – I like sunny days and coffee!
I was inspired by the bright summer colors on the pretty Lawn Fawn plaid paper, which I got with the April card kit from SSS and the sentiments from the Reverse Confetti “I like you” stamp set.
To bring the “sunny day” on my card I created a bit of clear blue sky using distress ink and a watercolored sun, die cut using My Favorite Things die.
The coffee cup is a SugarPea Design die from the “Coffee addict” set. I used the matching plaid paper for the cup sleeve and a vellum cup lid, which I coloured with ink. I finished off my card by adding few sparkly sequins from the same May card kit by SSS.
