Coffee Loving Papercrafters

It’s a wonderfully busy week over here on the blog!  It means tons of inspiration!  We hope that you haven’t missed the June Guestie intro post HERE and Maria’s card from yesterday is HERE.  Today we have the wonderful Andreea back with us with another Super Project!

Hello coffee loving friends and Happy Summer (almost) Blog Hopping!  Are you excited and ready? So am I … and today I am delighted to share with you my first project as a guest designer for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog.

Summer for me means relaxing on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and a good book accompanied by good coffee.

I started my project by smooshing some distress ink on my paper, which was die cut with the “Postage stamp edge” by Simon Says Stamp, using summery colors of sun, sand and sea.

I have added then a few beach and maritime elements – pretty polka-dot flip-flops by Clearly Besotted and sea-shell and anchor from the “Ocean dreams” stamp and die set of Simon Says Stamp.

To finish off my card I added a nice cup of refreshing frappé using the “Oh Frappe” stamp and die set by Ellen Hutson, which I coloured with my zig color brushes. You know I love my twine, so I couldn’t resist adding another pop of blue.

Can you tell I am ready for my summer vacation?
