It’s time for another Thursday Cuppa Joe!
For today’s card, I’m sharing a birthday card using some great stamp sets by Newton’s Nook Designs, gorgeous dies & sequins by Pretty Pink Posh, and awesome paper by BoBunny. Now this birthday card has all blues, greens, and blacks on it, so I would tend to send this to a guy, but I have a very strong feeling that the ladies would love receiving this, too!
Did you know I used to be on the Newton’s Nook design team?! Yeperoo I did! So because of that, I have a great collection of NN stamps. For today’s card, I’m using a newer set that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on – Newton Loves Coffee! And I also pulled out 2 other sets: Newton’s Birthday Bash (ooh, they have a coordinating die set for it now!) and Sweet Summer (for the cute little tag on the corner of the card).
The fun papers are all from BoBunny’s Zip-a-Dee-Doodle 6×6 paper collection. I used 2 Pretty Pink Posh dies: Storybook 1 and Scallop Frames. I also used the scalloped frame die from Mama Elephant’s Basic Die Set.
All the colored images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper, and colored with Copics. I added sparkle with these Pretty Pink Posh cupped sequins: 6mm Cobalt, 4mm Fresh Mint, and 6mm & 4mm Sparkling Clear. I also painted Clear Zig Wink of Stella onto various spots.
The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink; the coffee beans are stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink, and the coffee steam is stamped with Memento London Fog Ink.
