We’re so happy to have our February Guest Designer, Michael back with us!
Hello, everyone! It’s Michael. Again. I am thrilled to be back for Week 2 as Guest Designer for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog. This week, I have a slimline birthday card using the Coffee Donut Row digital image from Stamplorations. I made this card for a friend who adores coffee and American donuts.

- I made a top-folding slimline card, 3.25″ x 8″, and adhered a piece of scrapbook paper to the front.
- I printed the Coffee Donut Row image on white cardstock and die-cut it using a 2 7/8″ x 7 5/8″ stitched slimline die. If you don’t have this die, you can trim the image to the same size.
- I colored the image using Ultra Fine Tip BIC markers, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then to the card front.
- I applied Diamond Glaze to the frosting on the donuts, covered the card so that no dust settles on the glaze, and set it aside to fully dry. You need at least 3 hours, but I left mine to dry overnight.
- While that was drying, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the same stitched slimline die as above, and stamped Happy Birthday in the center. This stamp is from Clear & Simple Stamps and, sadly, no longer in business.

- Once the card was fully dry, I adhered the white cardstock to the inkside and, lastly, I adhered one of the Tim Holtz Quote Chips to the front.

I hope you enjoy this week’s card and appreciate you stopping by the blog today. To view more of my work, follow me on my social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Until next week…
Hugs from Brasil…
~Michael
