Welcome to another month of Lattes and Layers with Laurel. Before we get to the new challenge, thank you to those of you who played along with the Sweater Challenge. Our winner and next guest designer is:
This is such a fun card, so full of pattern and I love the sweater! Congratulations Deanne!

February’s word is HEARTS — a simple but meaningful symbol of love, kindness, friendship, and connection.

Here’s my take on Hearts, using layered details, cozy textures, and a warm drink theme to capture that heartfelt February feeling. I used a few things from my stash that makes me happy (feels good to stash bust doesn’t it?). The confetti in the shaker is from CTMH and the journal card and bits are from an old Elle’s Studio kit.

The mug is the Lawn Fawn Build a Mug Add on Die. As for the main sentiment, I printed that up on my computer.

Looking for inspiration? You might incorporate Hearts by using:
• layered heart die-cuts or patterns
• stitched or embossed heart details
• warm, cozy color palettes
• mugs, cups, or cocoa elements with heart accents
Now it’s your turn!
Create something inspired by the word HEARTS — just be sure to include coffee, tea, or hot chocolate somewhere in your design.
You have until the end of the month to link up your creation for your chance to be a Guest Designer!
