Happy Tuesday my creative caffeinated crafters!
Woah!! Is it December already? Yikes. I really haven’t made a dent in Christmas Card making. I will be kind to myself and know, “It is okay.” It is ok to send a lot out, it is ok to send a few, and it is ok to pass this year. Whatever is less stressful for you. Give yourself grace this holiday.
I do have a few cards to share that I have made especially for you. Every now and then a card will pop up on my feed and I go “WOW!” I love that card, I’m hit with admiration & inspiration. And I think, I have similar supplies, I’d love to make something on the same lines. For me, it was Kristina Werner’s card here: Inspiration Card. Maybe some of you are familiar with her card and will know right away once you see my card where I was inspired.
I made three postage themed cards featuring Super Sponsor Mama Elephant.
- – Postage Grid Cover Cuts Die
- – Oh Friendship Tree
- – Oh Penguin Tree
- – Quilted Cover Creative Cuts
- – Holiday Bitties Stamp Set
- – Many Thanks Stamp Set (Retired)

I stamped all of the images onto white cardstock spacing allotted to set behind the postage grid die. I had fun coloring all the critters, trees, & present with copic markers.
Copic List:
- Blues/Greens: B28, B05, G02, YG23
- Reds/Pinks: R37, R14, RV06, YR01, V000
- Yellows/Oranges: Y21, Y35, YR04
- Browns/Purples: E33. YR24, V95, C3, BV13, V15

Sentiments were white embossed on solid cardstock onto an A2 size as well as strips. I clipped the strips into banners and popped up with foam tape.

After embossing, the A2 panels were die cut with the quilted die to add texture. A white frame was adhered to the panel and attached to an A2 folded card base.
The Postage Frame die was cut in white cardstock and clipped to have nine individual postage pieces. All of the images were cut and glued affixed behind a postage piece. The card was assemble to have the postage that were on top of an underlying piece of postage, were popped up with foam tape.

I am smitten with these brightly colored postage stamps and look forward to making more!
I practice creating calm and peace by creating. I am thankful to be able to share with you one of the hobbies that I love. Be easy on yourself as we go into another holiday season. In the meantime, stay crafty and share handmade kindness.
I’m also creating on my personal blog and you can find me here: Wienerhoneymooners and also on Instagram here: Wienerhoneymooners.
Have a super rest of the week.
