Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there, Christine here with a Christmas coffee surprise card using Super Sponsor Concord & 9th older products. I’m using the Cup of Kindness dies with a Swirls dies background die and the Stocking Stuffer stamp & die combo with a hidden message.

First I die cut the background panel and the part of the coffee cup. Since this card has an interactive component, I first placed everything on the card panel to see where I would die cut the slit that could hold the hidden tab. This tab has a backstop that prevents it from completely being pulled out.

I then stamped, die cut and colored the floral component (adhered to the top of the coffee cup) that would also serve as the pull up mechanism to reveal the message. The only part of this mechanism that should be adhered is the top of the coffee cup to the top of the tab, everything else has to be freely moving.

Once you have the mechanism in place, only the coffee cup bottom needs to be adhered to the card panel. I then die cut a sentiment, adhered a few sequins and voila, the card was finished.
