Happy Tuesday my creative caffeinated crafters!
Warning – This post is photo heavy!
I was so inspired by our memory keeping guest designer Patricia Roebuck, that I dusted off my Citrus Twist Kit binders and dug out my hoarded planner stamps.
I rarely create scrap layouts, but when I do, I find it very relaxing. The great memories from all our mini trips, vacations, and family and friend get togethers come flooding back to me and I am in a great place to grab a brew and enjoy creating.

I find it fun to do a few pages of a theme, and move on to other fun things like food, or a collection of items I like so I have a fun mix of memories as well as just plain cool stuff.
And, yes, …yes – I DO bring my favorite coffee mug as well as thermos with me on vacation.

Sometimes I formulate a plan for photos. For these layouts I decided on 3 sizes for my photos. A full page, a single photo page, and a three photo page. My sizes are 4×8 2.5×2.5 & 1.5×2.5

Here is my collection of newest beverage containers. I can’t help myself when I see a lovely shade of blue.

I thought this box of donuts was a fun foodie item. There are absolutely no rules in memory keeping. Anything you want to add to your album is totally great. I prefer to add my journaling or notes later and slip them in back of the photo pages.

Every time start my projects I try very hard to contain the mess as well as make it easier to clean up. Even more so with scrap layouts. I come up with a game plan first. I decide a theme, the photo format, select and print, then place my photos in a storage bin with the coordinating papers and any embellishments that I have selected. Another bin holds the stamp sets. Does it help, yes. I still make a mess cutting and designing with paper, only more contained.
