Hello creative caffeinated crafters. Coming at you on a Wednesday, yay!
I do not know about you, but I am an avid “thrifter”. I rarely am able to get out there much, however, when I do, I make a mad rush to the crafts section. Can you believe that I found this woodblock beauty in a $5.99 grab bag? Never hurts to look at the thrift stores for supplies. Sometimes you just might score!
This vintage (retired) woodblock stamp is from Super Sponsor Art Impressions from Original Rubber Stamps, Salem, Oregon 1996. Art Impressions is still around and in Oregon. They are going string since 1987. I just love their fun quirky cartoonlike caricature designs.

This rubber stamp was in mint condition. I decided to use Zig Clean Color real brush watercolors. It has been awhile since I have water colored. The fun design demanded that I use bright colors and over exaggerate in loose and splotchy washes of vibrant watercolor for a cartoon feel.
Super Sponsors featured for my Tea-riffic Friends Card.

I get the feeling that the woman on the right is giving the woman in the middle a good bit of gossip. The gossip is so juicy that the woman in the middle is flushed red. The elderly lady to the left, well.. she is eager to hear more. This is the most exciting thing she has heard all week!

My inner panel has two sentiments. The first is from Heffy Doodle called Tea Time Sentiments (retired) and is still around if you search the internet, however Topflight Stamps offers a great tea and coffee theme set from Time for Tea stamps.
The second sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios (retired) They have an absolute amazing tea and coffee theme substitute sentiment set that is called Espresso Yourself.

I also scored thrifting recently a Canson XL watercolor pad and that is the paper I used for this card.

I am linking up to the Woodblock Wednesday Challenge! The challenge starts today. I have a huge collection of rubber wood mount stamps and I really need to show them more love. This is the perfect occasion. Hope to inspire you to join in. Dust off any of your beloved wood block stamps and go check out the challenge.
