Happy Friday! Teri Anderson is back on the blog with a super cute project!

Hi, everyone! 

It’s Teri Anderson again, and I’m buzzing by back with another card to share with you! I just picked up this super cute coffee cup die from Paper Rose and was super inspired to use it to make today’s card.

I cut it three times from white cardstock and used Catherine Pooler inks to blend ink onto the base of each one. I love color so I went with a rainbow color scheme.

It seemed kind of boring to use a plain, white background so I dry-embossed a panel of cardstock with Sunny Studio’s Quilted Hearts embossing folder to add a little texture. To make the pattern a little more noticeable, I blended a little bit of ink along the edges. I wasn’t going for perfection so I didn’t worry about making the inking look even.

I created the little scene by lining up the coffee cups. I wanted it to look a bit freestyle so I tilted some of them as I went. 

I added the stamped bird from Lawn Fawn, as well as the stamped sentiments. 

To complete the design, I added some inked hearts. These were cut with the coffee cup die. I also added a few pink Sprinkletz clay embellishments from Buttons Galore & More.

Rather than adding a sentiment to the inside of the card, I decided to keep this one blank until I send it out. I might write a note to a friend or add a gift card for her favorite coffee shop.
