Happy Friday! Our July Guest, Patricia, is back again and you’re going to love her newest project! Be sure to scroll down all the way to the bottom of this post as we recap all the wonderful projects she shared this month. We can’t believe it is already the last Friday of July!
Hello Coffee, tea, and papercrafting friends! I am back one last time as guest with you here, and just want to say thank you so much for the talented team and especially to Amy for having me! I wanted to be sure to share the different formats that are my current favorite to document in with you this month. Two formats I shared were using a small planner that I use as a memory planner, one format is a traveler’s notebook size using the Citrus Twist Kits Life Crafted original size album, and for today, I’m also using a Citrus Twist Kits Life Crafted album, but in the 6×8 size.
I think this size is one of my favorites because when I started scrapbooking, I used both 12×12 and 8.5×11. There’s something about the 8.5×11 that I love and the 6×8.25 that I used for today gives me that same satisfaction. I’l be using a few favorites that I will talk about throughout this post.

A second reason why I love this format is, I really do love to make the large 6×8.5 page as a title or a focal point, just like creating a card.

I used my old silhouette cameo to cut the letters for coffee (you could easily do metal dies with the larger die cutting machines) and then I backed them with pattern paper and die cuts from a recent digital collection I printed and cut out from Citrus Twist Kits. Then I added one cluster at the top with stamping, die cuts, and stickers, and a smaller cluster at the bottom.

Having a fun page on the left like this gives me the entire right side to use little photos with the Citrus Twist Kits Page Protector #4. Another favorite of mine is using smaller photos, and these 2×2 pockets are just perfect for that and fun to use confetti as well, especially for holiday layouts! It is a great way to use photos you take at coffee shops, like I did here…that coffee cup image with the ‘wave’ is a painting that was in their restroom!

For the left I used a white background and on the right with the pockets without photos, I used a subtle pattern paper. I kept them all the same to keep the focus on the photos. I did add texture to these pockets by tearing more pattern paper to layer over, added more stickers (definitely a great time to use your stash), and loaded it up with my favorite enamel dots! Sometimes I will add embellishments to the photos, but kept them as is except for one heart on the latte photo at the top.

Another point to mention is that the majority of these photos are not from the same day, just favorite photos all about coffee!! Anyone else get the free straw when Starbucks offered it with a cold drink?! Yep, got that in there. LOL
I hope you have seen some fun ways you can document about our love of coffee! Memory planning, Traveler’s Notebook, 6×8 album, some have more journaling about coffee and some have more photos all about coffee. However you decide to do papercrafting, hope you enjoy it with your next cup…thank you so much for having me and I will see everyone on Instagram!
