Hey there, happy May!
This is a fun card design for your hippest bestie!
Combining embossing folders and ink blending is such a fun and easy way to create interest, dimension, and ground your main image. For this card I used a graphic embossing folder on colored cardstock and using a darker color of the cardstock color, ink blended the edges for added interest and dimension.
I have combined some fabulous super sponsor products for my Hip Bestie card.
- Altenew: Modern Lines 3d Embossing Folder
- Honey Bee Stamps: Treat Yo Self (Retired)
- Brass & Bliss Craft Co (formerly Rubbernecker Stamps): Coffee Girls Set
- Hero Arts: Arctic Cardstock, Pitch Black Cardstock, Summer Sky Ink
- Copics: B24, G16, G02, R59, RV69, RV17, R35

I say, don’t stress about trying to color everything on some images. If you like the way it looks partially colored, then do what feels right to you. Encouraging yourself to stay creative and use your supplies is what it’s all about. Sharing your handmade creation is a wonderful way to share kindness, your creativity, and inspiration.
I love being able to encourage any level of card maker, and I am grateful to share my creations with you!
