Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello hello hello…. Helen is here. Today, I am so excited to have a coffee date with my friend, Esther! Let me introduce you to my friend.

“Hello, my name is Esther, and I live in the beautiful state of Virginia with my husband and daughter. My mom encouraged me to take up cardmaking in 2005, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve made some wonderful friends through this hobby, and love that I can use my creations to brighten someone’s day with a bit of handmade kindness in their mailbox!”

Today, both of us making our projects inspired by this Spring Coffee Bar image from this blog:

And this is my project that I created using Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps, too.

I used the Cloudy Day Edge Stencil/Mask to create the cloud background behind the window. And I added the cloud background panel and a piece of vellum paper to the window that I cut out of a pattern paper using the Arched Window Die.

I used one of the coffee mug flower images from the Great Friends Clear Stamp Set and color it using Prismacolors coloring pencils. I fussy cut it with scissors and then for the sentiment, I cut it using one of the dies from the Stitched Rectangle Die Set.
