Coffee + Cards – Porcu-pine for coffee | Lawn Fawn

Hello and Happy Monday! I’m trying to post at least once a week on the blog.  I have enough caffeinated sets to do much more than that…

Today I’m shakin’ things up with this card duo.  I’m trying to do a pattern paper stash busting over here…chuckling because they started off as A2 cards and then I ended up trimming the paper paper panel down to 3.25 inches.  Not much stash busting but at least I sliced into that glorious panel by American Crafts – Shimelle | True Stories – Macchiato.

Both designs use the following stamp sets:

  • Lawn Fawn – Porcu-pine for You Add-On | stamp + lawn cuts
  • Lawn Fawn – Critters in the Forest | stamp
  • Waffle Flower – Coffee Shop Talk | stamp
  • Waffle Flower – Coffee Shop Hamsters | stamp + die

The solid cardstock is Stampin’ Up – Mint Macaron + the shaker mix is Stampin’ Up too.

I use old stamp set sleeve [packaging] for my shaker element.  I slide in a panel, load in the shaker bits and tape it all up.

I bought that cute porcupine just so he could hold coffee.

My card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

Oh these cards are so sweet! I love that background paper and those porcupines are just the cutest! Paired with a shaker card and these cards are perfect! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
