Cup of Merry Card

Hi there, Christine here with a card using fun items from Super Sponsors Sunny Studio Stamps and Trinity Stamps.

I started off my cutting down a vellum piece to an A2 size and then die cutting 2 green shades of cardstock with the Sunny Studio Stamps Christmas Garland Frame die set I had in my stash (it took me a while to figure out which shades!)- use what looks good to you! I offset the darker shade behind the lighter shade to create a bit more interest and depth.

Then I die cut a coffee mug using the Trinity Stamps Santa Mug die set out of Lawn Fawn pink speckled cardstock and used copic markers to shade the outside- it is very hard to see and if I had to do it over again, I would use a much darker shade of pink!

Then I die greenery and berries using the Sunny Studio Stamps Winter Greenery Sprigs and Holly die set with different shades of green cardstock and added green shading and glitter paste to make them stand out more!  I added Trinity Stamps Sparkle Enamel dots on top of the red berries to make them stand out.  I added colored pink enamel dots from Trinity Stamps Rainbow Glitter Enamel dots on top of the mug as well.

Before adhering the coffee mug, I added white acrylic splotches to the Christmas Garland frame (makes it more interesting!) and then finished up by die cutting the Merry Christmas sentiment out of gold cardstock with the Sunny Studio Stamps Christmas Garland Frame die set.

I hope that you like it- thank you for stopping by!
