Hello caffeinated card makers!
Kimberly Wiener here, and today I’m sharing not one, but TWO caffeinated cards with a sweet twist. They are not only cute shaped cards, they are Gift Card holders!
I love a great twist. Trinity Stamps have some of the cutest gnomes around. These two cuties are from the Holiday Hang Out Stamp set.
I started with the Trinity Coffee Mug Card Die Set on watercolor paper. A great shape, such a fun way to add whimsy to your cards. Using the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi set I swiped two of the darkest blue shades #63 and #64 in large horizontal stripes and splatters, covering where my image placement is set to be.
Next, using Tuxedo Black, I stamped and die cut the Holiday Hang Out Stamp set. Double sided foam mount tape was added to the images for dimension. The Greetings inked in Versafine ink are from the Ink to Paper It’s a Sign: Holiday Sentiments set.
Copics used are: (Skin Tones: RV42,RV00, R81, E00,YR01,R00,YR00) (Reds: RV25,RV29,RV17,R35,R37) (Grey Tones: BV00,C9,BV25,C3,C2) (Blues &Greens: BG96,G16,BG13,BG15,BG05,B24,B28.
To top it all off, I used my Gellyroll 08 (medium point) white pen to add hand drawn accents, dots, and snow flakes.
I am also sharing these cute cards in the current Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!
I really had a ton of fun creating these, and since I am a die hard coffee lover – a definite “go-to” staple in my stash for making gift card holder cards.
I hope you are inspired to create. And hey, don’t forget to check out the current Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge – $25 gift prize is up for grabs.
See you next time!
