Hello everyone! Helen is here today. Let’s grab your favorite drink and take a little break with me.
Today’s project is this rainbow mixed media card. It is pretty simple to make, too.

I used the Cup of Coffee wood block stamp from Hero Arts. I stamped it on watercolor paper with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, which is a permanent pigment ink pad. After that, I painted the rainbow colors on it using watercolor paint and a round brush.
After the watercolor painting, I dried the watercolored background panel with a craft heat gun and then I added some white paint splatters using a fan brush and white acrylic paint spray mix. I dried the whole panel again with a craft heater gun. After that, I cut it with Crazy Running Stitches Rectangle Die from STAMPlorations. I added this background panel to the card base with Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner Grand.

For the sentiment, it is from Miss Ink Stamp, Java Joe’s stamp set. I stamped it on a heavy-weight card stock with the same permanent pigment ink pad. And then I cut it into a banner. I used my mini stapler to add those couple of stapler embellishments. I added the sentiment to the card with 3D foam tape.
I added some sequins from STAMPlorations to the card with dries-clear permanent liquid glue.
Hope this rainbow mixed media coffee card perks you up today! Thanks a latte for stopping by our blog today. Have a fabulous day!
