Well hello again! Super happy to share more coffee craftiness with you.
Do you ever see a stamp set you adore, and know automatically how you will use it? For me, it’s 50/50, sometimes I know a color scheme, or what I might pair the set with, other times I will just purchase a few things I love, and figure out the creation later. This time however, when I saw this sweet image, I automatically knew I wanted to paper piece, and add PLAID!
I mean the beret, seriously cute, am I right?!!

I loved the Catherine Pooler Java Fix paper pad (retired), and immediately knew the pretty pink plaid was the “IT” paper to pair with this Penny Black Love Ya Cling Stamp.
I layered the plaid paper and a sheet from the Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bliss pad (retired) and topped it with Neenah solar white cardstock. I inked the images as well as the Ellen Hutson Julie Ebersole Latte Love sentiment in Concord & 9th Dove ink. The image was stamped onto the Neenah white cardstock, the plaid paper, and grey paper. I paper pieced the images and used Bearly Art precision craft glue to adhere them in place.
I hand cut around the sentiment and popped it up with double sided foam tape and edged it in dove ink. I colored the image with copic markers. To add some interest, I only colored the side of the girls face to indicate a sweet sunny day in Paris!
Copics I used : E95, E53, YR00
I spent one day in Paris many years ago, and I made a point to have a café and pastry at a little shop along the The Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The day trip was far too short, however, I will never forget being there that day and the feeling of sipping a cuppa in the morning sun.
Until next time, spread kindness and stay BREW-tiful!
