Hello! Today I’m using some cool products from Uniko! Uniko is sponsoring the Caffeinated Christmas Card Sentiment this month! I decided to use some of the products I used for that challenge today for a non-Christmas themed card.
I started with a gel print I made last weekend when I went away with my mom. We spent a whole day playing with inks and paints and the gel press. For this one I used a couple metallic paints in bronze and blue and after I got home, I ran it through my Minc with some Copper Deco Foil from Therm O Web. Since the results are always a surprise with acrylic paint and foil, and I was using a solid piece of foil rather than used, I set my Minc at a low setting (3) because I didn’t want full coverage and I LOVE how it came out!
I cut that fabulous Sparkline Snowflake die from one of the fabulous papers from the most recent quarterly Your Paper Insider box. It’s such a cool, heavy, sparky bronze… not glitter paper, but just a nice heavy cardstock. I love that this snowflake can be used really on any project as a cool (pun intended) accent and from this bronze paper it looks almost like metal to me.
I popped the snowflake onto the background and then added the cup and sentiment from the Uniko I LOVE Coffee stamp set. I embossed the cup with Wow Gold Fine embossing powder, colored the top with Copic markers and stamped the flower that comes in the set in blue, the wrap in brown and popped them both onto the front of the cup.
