Coffee + Cards | Tea & Honey Duo

Are you Team Coffee or Team Tea?  Maybe both?  In the morning, I drink coffee.  I wish I could drink it ‘black’ like I can my tea.

When Super Sponsor The Greetery came out with their Dried Citrus Slices Die, I was too late to buy it, it sold out.  If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you may know that I’m a fruitarian [+ coffee-atarian].  I planned my shopping list and waited and then when it came back in stock I bought it plus a couple other things:

I combined the following from The Greetery:

  • Dried Fruit Slices Die
  • Warm & Wonderful Stamp + Die set
  • Honey Jar Stamp + Die set
  • Buzz-worthy Sentiments Stamp Set
  • Coffee Cup Coaster Die
  • Postal Frames Die

Those Warm & Wonderful glasses remind me of my former Mother-in-Law.  I remember when she bought a set of Irish Coffee Glasses and having tea with her in her kitchen.  I sent one of these cards to her this week. That’s something that I’m working on, mailing more cards out.  Actually I sent the other one to my daughter so I’m doing good so far [wink].

The Warm & Wonderful set was inked up using these Catherine Pooler colors:

  • Macchiato
  • S’Mores
  • Cargo

The Honey Jar was inked up using these Catherine Pooler colors:

  • Shea Butter
  • Tiara
  • Glitz

The sentiments were stamped in Cargo and the honeycomb image is in Tiara.  The Coffee Cup Coaster and the Honey Jar Topper were cut from [retired] Reverse Confetti Mist.  The Honey Jar Topper was inked up with Catherine Pooler ink – Tranquil.

Do you see the bits of glitter on the Dried Fruit pieces?

The Greetery’s images are pretty easy to line up for their multi stamp images.  A tip is to die cut the image on a panel, use that as your guide to lining up the multi stamps, one layer at a time.

I make sure that the image is solidly in the space and then close the lid of the Misti, insert the die cut piece and then stamp.  I remove the stamp and do it all over with the next stamp.  I still hold my breath when I do this process.  I’m super happy how the word ‘Honey’ on the honey jar turned out.  It looks pretty white and not muddled much [wink].
