We so happy to have Carrie back with us today!
Hello everyone! I am happy to be back as a guest designer sharing some more coffee-loving projects with you. Today, I have a simple Cricut project using materials you may already have in your collection. For those who are not cutting machine owners, this is a project you can easily alter with your dies and acetate sheets.

Like most of my projects, I combined my Cricut and cardmaking supplies. These three bookmarks were created using some lovely sunflower dies from Honey Bee Stamps, acetate, and vinyl images I cut with my machine.
I enjoy cutting my floral pieces from pattern papers. It gives them a great layered look and adds to the design. On a few of the floral pieces, I alternated patterns on each layer to give it some texture and contrast.

In the center of one of the sunflowers, I added a stamped image from Newton’s Nook. I shaded the images with alcohol markers, cut them with a die, and layered them onto the bookmark with the little sticker.
The other two sunflowers have simple sticker sentiments from Echo Park. If you are like me, you have quite a few coffee sentiments in your collection and this is a great way to use them up.

The recipient of these bookmakers is going to enjoy using them whenever they are sitting with a good book and a cup of coffee. If you are new to using vinyl and acetate, I will be posting a video on my youtube channel on Monday.
I hope you have a wonderful week, and I can’t wait to see what you create!!
Miss. Carrie
