Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello and welcome!  I am so glad you dropped by today!  This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness, back with another Mug Shot Monday!

Ever have a pile of images or sentiments left over from previous projects sitting on your desk?  Well—I am 100% guilty of that!  Sometimes I just stamp out a bunch of things to have around to color with no idea what I will be doing with them after.  Today’s card was born from a pile like I described above.  It totally mixed and matched different companies AND completely different sets but somehow came together into the perfect card!

I used the Caffeinated Boxer stamp for my focal image on my card.  I absolutely adore coloring this guy, and well, he was sitting on top of “that pile”.  I used my Zig real brush markers to color this cutie up in in some fun and summery colors.  There is a die available, but I ended up fussy cutting him out.  My sentiment is one I had planned to use on a completely different card, but that card changed directions (as many of mine do!) and ended up in “the pile” as well.  Oh Happy Day is a newer stamp set from super sponsor Trinity Stamps.  I used the coordinating die to cut the sentiment out.  My background was an experiment in ink blending a rainbow—and it worked!  I used the Inkon3 Atelier inks for this after masking off a rectangle on Bristol Smooth paper.  LOVE how this came out!!  A little foam tape to pop up my boxer and some glue for the adhesive and this card was nearly complete.  Being as I have trouble stopping sometimes—bling had to happen!  I grabbed my Java Stop clay embellishments and my Fairy Rocks rhinestone embellishments from Trinity Stamps and added some cluttered clusters around my sentiment, and a coffee bean onto the Boxer’s coffee mug too!  That finished up the card!
