We’re so excited to have our March Guest Designer Mary Rose on the blog for her final post. Please be sure to check out her entire post because we’ve added her other projects that she has shared this month.
Hello, Coffee Loving Cardmakers! Today is my last stint as your Friday barista! I have had so much fun being the guest designer this month. Thank you for inviting me!

Today’s Brew is a fun shaped card. Don’t you love making shaped cards? I think the recipient loves them, too.
I had this idea to have spring honey bees swarming around a sweet cup of tea. Strips of acetate? Check! Bees with glittery wings? Check! A china cup with a spring floral pattern? Check!

I used Trinity Stamps Trini-tea cup card dies, paired them with Lawn Fawn Spring Fling papers, and added some stamped elements from My Favorite Things.

The key to making this card look neat and clean is to do some doubling up. You will need to stamp those floating bees twice to give them a front and a back that covers the part where the bee adheres to the acetate. You will also need to die cut another “cup” to cover the spot inside where the strips get adhered to the back.

Ready for a fun sentiment!

{Today’ Brew: Trini-tea cup card dies (Trinity Stamps), MFT Fly By Friends stamps and dies, MFT Cup of Tea sentiment, Lawn Fawn Spring Fling papers, COPIC markers, Wink of Stella, rhinestone honey drops (Dollar Tree!)}

Hope your day is “sweet”! Thanks, again, coffee loving friends!
