I’m so excited to share my coffee date with my friend Kimberly! First a bit about Kimberly:

“Hello fellow coffee lovers! I’m so thrilled to be joining my friend Amy as her coffee date today!! I live in Kirkland, Washington with my family. I currently work part time in an office and part time caregiver for my mom. Other than doing crafty things, I love to mini vacations, thrift shopping, and to hang out with my Shih Tzu Oliver and hubby binge watching various shows. I have always crafted various things, and collected rubber stamps before I even knew it was a thing. One day I looked to the internet for ideas and was amazed at all of the cardmaking out there. I soon found myself immersed in cardmaking, on design teams, and eventually designing for companies. Amy and I found that we are in the same area, and as time went by, we eventually met in person at the Puyallup Scrap and Stamp Expo in 2013. Over the years we have stayed in contact and I am so truly blessed to be a part of a small local crafty group with her and be able meet up in person from time to time. I have slowed things way down and currently am occasionally designing for myself, and am finding it a true pleasure again. Amy is a light of inspiration, love, and immense support in the crafty universe! I am very thankful to have been invited to be her Coffee Date! Muah!”
Amy and I both used Lawn Fawn as our inspiration. We created a little sweet home by using stitched coffee mugs as the base of the houses. I went for a painterly illustrated feel for my card. I think it is so fun to mix up dies and be creative with it.

I ended up using a fun array of Lawn Fawn products: Happy Hugs Stamp, Die Set, Outside In Stitched Mug, Acorn House, Sentiment from Thanks a Latte, Meadow Backdrop Landscape, Den Sweet Den Stamp Set.
I am very thankful to have been invited to be her Coffee Date! — Muah!
Kimberly also has a sweet coffee inspired prize. Head over to her blog for more details<–
Here’s my project:

I was so inspired by THIS card by Kay Miller.
I teamed up the Stitched Mug Frame and the Outside In Stitched Mug to create a shaker. The acetate layer is old stamp packaging that I’ve upcycled. The shaker bits are from my stash and are teeny tiny green hearts.
The topper is from the Mushroom House.

Love that girl from Oh Gnome. I colored her to look like a Starbucks Barista. Her teeny tiny mug is from Tiny Winter Friends.

The background is a combo of the Stitched Cloud Backdrop and Grassy Border. The sentiment that has been heat embossed in white on black cardstock is from the Oh Gnome set.
Here’s a pre-COVID photo of the two of us, she gifted me with that fun hot pink Starbucks apron!
