Thursday Coffee Break | Caffeinated Spring Birthday Card

Hello coffee loving friends! Helen is here today. Let’s take little coffee break with me…

Today I wanna share an idea for a Spring birthday card for a coffee loving friend. I think this Cup of Bloom 2 stamp set from STAMPlorations is perfect for this caffeinated Spring birthday card theme.

I created a splash of watercolored background using dye inks with smooshing technique. I dabbed some inks on craft mat and then sprayed it with water. I smooshed the watercolor paper in the ink and dried it with craft heat gun. I added the background panel on a card with permanent adhesive runner.

I added one of the clear sticker sentiments from the STAMPlorations – Happy Happy Clear Stickers at top corner of the card.

I stamped the image with VersaFine Onyx Black on a piece of 140 lbs watercolor paper using Mini MISTI. And then I colored it with Artze Real Brushes and water brush. I dried the watercolor paint with craft heat gun and then I fussy cut it with scissors. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

I added some sequins from the Mocha Swirls ShakerBlends on the card with dries-clear permanent adhesive glue.

I hope this card sparks an idea for Caffeinated Spring birthday card. Thanks a latte for stopping by at our blog today!
