Slimline hanging ornaments card

Hello there, Christine here with a paper pieced card featuring a coffee cup and ornaments from Super Sponsors Trinity Stamps and The Greetery.  I love to do paper piecing, I find it more relaxing than stamping or coloring because less can go wrong!

First I used the Curio: Attic Ornaments die set from the The Greetery. I simply pulled out a palette of colors, kept the dies together (no snipping apart) and just die cut everything from each piece of colored cardstock.  I then sat down, had the TV on and mixed and matched to make a bunch of different ornaments (lots more than you see here).

After I had a bunch of ornaments made, I tried to think what color scheme I wanted for this card and ultimately decided on a goldenrod, gold and teal/blue scheme with the background being green (as if they were hanging in a tree).

I die cut the background panel using the Trinity Stamps Slimline Dainty Scallop die set and the ornament hanger from the Trinity Stamps Slimline Hanging Ornaments Panel die set.  I made the sentiment using the new Trinity Stamps Simply Sentimental- Happy stamp and die set.  I love the type font that is used in a lot of the sentiments on this stamp set.  The coffee cup ornament is available and part of the 2020 Trinity Mini Tag Collection die set.

Thank you so much for stopping by- I hope you will have a wonderful day!
