Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
Today we are looking at Paper Crafters Handmade Cards. Today we are starting a new section in the magazine, Ready Made Embellishments. I think just about every craft will have something ready-made, even if it’s only just rhinestones or enamel dots! I have a few ready-made embellishments, leftover from when Archivers was still around. Now, I tend not to buy a lot of embellishments that match a paper collection, like die cuts, enamel dots or shapes, etc. I have so much paper already, so without a brick and mortar store I really don’t buy collections, plus I have so much stuff already, LOL!!!
So I went into my stash and found some older Fancy Pants Christmas pattern paper with matching enamel dots and shapes, along with a pack of different printed die cuts. Flipping through my stash of coffee stamps and dies I pulled out Avery Elle Cool Beans. An older set but still available at Butterfly Reflections!
I stamped the coffee cup once on pattern paper and again on white paper. Then I fussy cut the cup and the white lid. The pattern paper I picked out had trees on it and from the die-cut pack, I found a few trees, too.
Also from the pack, I found a slim tag and I stamped Thanks A Latte in black ink. Then I added some red and white twine to the tag. I played around with the arrangement and when I was happy with it I adhered it to a striped pattern paper panel.
Then I added the panel to a white card base and last from the enamel sheet I added a few matching flat enamel dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this encourages you to find those ready-made embellishments and put them to good use!! LOL!!
Dana
