Hello coffee lovers!! Yesterday was National Coffee Day and yes I’m still celebrating today! Make sure you check out yesterday’s Nation Coffee Day Hop and your chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors!! AND check out our Week-long celebrations for more chances to win!
I don’t want the celebration to stop! I decided to play some more with Ellen Hutson Bear Cozy Kit! Check out the Hop from yesterday for your chance to win one of these kits! This kit can be used beyond the felt and thread!! I pulled out some of the kit and other supplies to create a Christmas card!
I started with Trinity Stamps Summertime Sips die that you can pick up at Ellen Hutson! I cut it out from pink and white cardstock. Then I used the cozy die from the kit to cut some green cardstock that I wrapped around my coffee cup, trimming off the extra.
For my card base, I went with a mini slime line card from pink, then added some pattern paper from My Favorite Things Holly Jolly pad. I also used a very old MFT Christmas tree die to cut some of the different patterns in the pad.
Then I arranged the tree on the green cozy wrap and decided to add some ornaments. The small circle dies from the kit (the eyes) make great ornaments, I added them along with pink rhinestones. I also found a glittery dot in pink and added that to the top of the tree.
Next, I stamped the Holly Jolly Hello from MFT Snow Globe Singles stamp set on light pink cardstock and added it to the wrap. Last, I added the whole coffee cup with the tree wrap to my striped card base.
Suffice to say the Bear Cozy Kit can be used with lots of different products you already have in your stash! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Dana
